Your Privacy Choices

This page explains how you can access, modify, delete, or control the personal data collected by the SolveMath mobile app and website. For full details on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Data We Hold About You
Depending on how you use SolveMath, we may hold:
- Account data: display name and account identifiers.
- Usage data: solve counts, subjects used, feature usage, and session activity linked to your account.
- Subscription data: plan status and purchase history (payment details are handled by Apple, Google, or Stripe — we do not store card numbers).
- Support correspondence: messages you send to our support team.
Camera images submitted for problem-solving are processed in real time and are not stored after your solution is delivered.
2. Access or Export Your Data
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- In the app: View your profile and usage summary in Settings.
- By email: Send a request to privacy@solvemathsci.com with the subject line Data Access Request. Include the email or account name associated with your SolveMath account.
We will respond within 30 days (or as required by applicable law).
3. Modify or Correct Your Data
You can update certain information directly:
- Profile information: Edit your display name and account details in the app under Settings.
- Other corrections: Email privacy@solvemathsci.com with the subject line Data Correction Request and describe what needs to be updated.
4. Delete Your Data
You may delete your account and associated personal data at any time.
- In the app: Delete your account from Settings, or contact support if you need help.
- By email: Send a request to privacy@solvemathsci.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request. We will verify your identity and complete deletion within 30 days.
After deletion, we may retain limited information only where required by law (for example, transaction records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
5. Control How Your Data Is Used and Shared
You can limit certain uses of your data:
- Problem images: Not stored after processing. To avoid sending images to our servers, do not use the camera feature.
- AI processing: Problem text and images are sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) solely to generate solutions. We do not attach your name or email to that content. You can stop this processing by not submitting problems.
- Analytics: Usage analytics help us improve the app. Contact us to opt out of analytics tied to your account.
- Marketing emails: SolveMath sends only transactional messages (account and subscription notices). We do not send promotional email. If that changes, every message will include an unsubscribe link.
- Do Not Sell or Share (California): We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may still submit a request at privacy@solvemathsci.com.
6. Parent or Guardian Requests
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information without parental consent, contact us at privacy@solvemathsci.com. We will promptly review and delete the information.
7. Identity Verification
To protect your account, we may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request (for example, by confirming the email address on your account or responding from the device where you are signed in).
